Cape Arago Audubon Society Programs: 2/7, 3/8 and 4/5

For those interested in travel, adventure and birding around the world, you will want to step out of your comfort zone and enjoy the Cape Arago Audubon Society’s programs over the next three months. We begin on Tuesday, February 7 at the Coos Bay Public Library with local naturalist Joe Metzler. Joe will present Beachcombing and Birding Kayak Island Alaska.

In March, we move to Bandon’s Community Center on Wednesday the 8th, again at 7 PM. Ram Papish and Dawn Harris will present Birding meets Culture in India.

And, in April, author Noah Strycker, the first person to find over 6,000 different bird species in a single year, will appear at Bandon’s Community Center on Wednesday, April 5, at 7 PM. The Creswell, Oregon native will preview his about to be released book on his experiences from around the world in accomplishing this Big Year record.
