March 8 – Cape Arago Audubon Society Presents “India: Exotic Creatures and Captivating Culture”

by | Mar 7, 2017 | Event

Join us on Wednesday March 8 for the Cape Arago Audubon Society ‘s presentation "India: Exotic Creatures and Captivating Culture" with Ram Papish and Dawn Harris. It starts at 7 pm at the Bandon Community Center.

Saturday’s field trip will be birding in Bandon. Tim Rodenkirk will be meeting at 8 AM at the Coos Library and I will be gathering at Ray’s Parking lot in Bandon to meet Tim’s group there and leaving at 8:40. Bring your own snacks and water although you need not worry about lunch as we hope to be done birding by noon. Rain gear is advised although the forecast looks more promising by week’s end. Both Tim and I have found a Rock Sandpiper this year, mine in a field trip I led in February, so we are hoping to get lucky again Saturday. We will also seek out a recently sighted Clay-colored Sparrow.
