BANDON — Bandon Showcase presents Women of the World – Global Voices United at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 16, at the Sprague Community Theater in Bandon, 1202 11th St. SW.
Women of the World is an ensemble of musicians from different corners of the globe.
The group, consisting of Ayumi Ueda, Annette Philip, Débo Ray, and Giorgia Renosto, is a microcosm of the world, bringing women musicians onto a common platform to collaborate and create.
With a repertoire of folk and traditional music spanning 27 languages, Women of the World serve as cultural ambassadors of peace and unity.
Bandon Showcase is proud to sponsor an outreach experience for 200 Bandon Harbor Lights Middle School students earlier in the day on March 16 with Women of the World. Students will be bused to the Sprague for an interactive concert.
Tickets are still available for the evening show. Coastal Mist Chocolate Boutique and Edgewaters will serve complimentary treats and wine during intermission, along with Showcase’s delicious cookies and punch.
