Qualified 501(c)3 Organizations Can Apply for Emergency Food and Shelter Program Funds

EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER PROGRAMS (EFPS)
$29,107 Available for Coos County

Coos County, OR. May 4, 2018- Public or private 501(c)3 nonprofit volunteer agencies interested in applying for Emergency Food and Shelter Program funds for Coos County must apply through Oregon Coast Community Action by Friday, June 8th, 2018.

Under the terms of the grant from the National Board, local agencies chosen to receive funds
must:

1) be private voluntary non-profits or units of the government; 2) be eligible to receive Federal funds; 3) have an accounting system; 4) practice nondiscrimination; 5) have demonstrated the capability to deliver emergency food and/or shelter programs; 6) if they are a private voluntary organization, have a voluntary board.

Qualifying agencies are urged to apply. Individuals cannot apply for this funding.

Agencies interested in applying for funding in Phase 35 should complete the online request form available at efsp; Paper copies can be requested/submitted but must be typed; Handwritten applications will not be accepted.
