Coos County Habitat for Humanity homeownership orientation sessions/Qualifying Application cycle

Starting Friday, June 15th and ending Friday, June 29th, Coos County Habitat for Humanity will accept Qualifying Applications for a 3-bedroom manufactured home located in the Empire District of Coos Bay. Applicant households must fall within 30-60% of HUD 2018 area median income limits for Coos County. Applicants must also demonstrate an ability to repay an affordable no-interest mortgage; a willingness to partner with Coos County Habitat by contributing “sweat equity” hours toward their home and other Coos County Habitat projects; proof of living or working in Coos County; and proof of legal U.S. residency.

Please attend an orientation session to learn more about Coos County Habitat’s homeownership program and pick up a Qualifying Application:

** Friday, June 15 – 5:30-6:30pm @ Harmony United Methodist Church (123 Ocean Blvd SE, Coos Bay)

** Saturday, June 16 – 10:30-11:30am @ Holy Name Catholic Church (50 S Dean, Coquille)

** Saturday, June 16 – 1-2pm @ College Park Community Church (2548 Newmark St, North Bend)

** Saturday, June 16 – 3:30-4:30pm @ First Presbyterian Church (592 Edison Ave SW, Bandon)

Qualifying Applications will also be available starting June 15th by calling Coos County Habitat’s office at (541) 756-9080, emailing info, or stopping by the ReStore at 776 S 2nd Street, Coos Bay (Monday-Saturday, 9am-5pm). Completed Qualifying Applications must be received by the office by 5pm on Friday, June 29, 2018. Please contact Coos County Habitat’s office with any questions.
